People with diabetes often develop vascular (blood vessel) disease, which can affect major blood vessels in the legs and feet. Over time, patients with diabetes can develop peripheral arterial disease (PAD) and foot ulcers. A research study is being conducted to test the safety and effectiveness of a study medication for individuals with type 2 diabetes who also have PAD and diabetic foot ulcers.
Study participants will receive study related exams, lab tests and study medication at no charge. Compensation for time and travel expenses may also be available.
